About the FoI Act and Environmental Information Regulations
The FoI Act gives the public general rights of access to information held by public authorities. The Environmental Information Regulations make provision for the release of environmental information by public authorities and for public authorities to make environmental information available in response to a request.
House of Lords Publication Scheme
The FoI Act requires the House of Lords to implement a Publication Scheme and to publish types of information outlined in the scheme. There are seven categories of information in the scheme.

The request log, which is part of the Publication Scheme, provides a summary of the requests received by the House of Lords and their outcome.
