"Growing up in India, yoga was part of PE in school. As with anything, when you’re made to do it, it’s annoying and after school I didn’t follow it at all. A few years ago I fell ill and was recommended yoga. I took it up again and have found it immensely beneficial. It’s helped with balance issues, and greatly improved my flexibility. It doesn’t need any equipment and during the pandemic it was something I could easily practice at home. I even taught my teenage son who was surprised by the workout a few simple postures can have."
