Welsh Affairs Committee: Meetings

Members of the public are welcome to attend public committee meetings. Details of subjects and witnesses are announced in periodic press notices.

Attending Meetings

Meetings publicised on this page will be open to the public. They will take place in a Committee Room either in the Palace of Westminster or in Portcullis House unless otherwise stated.

If the meeting is in the Palace of Westminster, enter via the Cromwell Green Entrance (number 6 on the map. For meetings in Portcullis House, entrance is on the Embankment (number 3 on the map)

Once through security, Visitor Assistants (identified by navy-blue uniforms) can advise how to reach the Committee room.

The Committee rooms are public areas of the House. Providing the session is open to the public, it is possible to enter during the session and stay for any length of time.

If you arrive early for the meeting please wait outside the room. A member of the Committee staff will call you in when the public session begins.
