The Treasury Committee has decided to hold the following public evidence session on the Bank of England  November Inflation Report:

Thursday 21 November The Wilson Room Portcullis House

Tuesday 26 November Venue to be confirmed

10.30am Sir Edward George, Governor, Mr Mervyn King, Deputy Governor, Sir Andrew Large, Deputy Governor, and  Mr Paul Tucker, Executive Director, Bank of England, and Ms Marian Bell and Mr Christopher Allsopp, External MPC Members

The meeting described above will be preceded by private deliberative meetings of the Committee to which the press and public will not be admitted.  The meetings will be held in a Committee Room in the House of Commons or in Portcullis House.    Those wishing to attend meetings should check the venue by contacting the House of Commons Public Information Office on 020 7219 4272 on the day before the hearing.

The Treasury Committee is a Select Committee of the House of Commons, appointed to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Treasury, the Inland Revenue, Customs and Excise and associated public bodies.
