The Treasury Committee has decided to hold the following three evidence session to examine the Budget 2003.

Monday 14 April 10.30am Mr David Walton, Goldman Sachs, Mr Ciarn Barr, Deutsche Bank, Mr Martin Weale and Ms Mary O'Mahoney, National Institute for Economic and Social Research, Professor Peter Spencer, University of York, Mr Robert Chote, Institute for Fiscal Studies and Mr John Whiting PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Monday 14 April 4.15pm  HM Treasury officials

Wednesday 30 April 9.15am The Chancellor of the Exchequer, and HM Treasury officials

These meetings will be preceded by a private deliberative meeting of the Committee to which the press and public will not be admitted. Meetings may be subject to last minute changes to or addition of witnesses. 

These meetings will be held in a Committee Room of the House of Commons or Portcullis House.    Those wishing to attend meetings should check the venue by contacting the House of Commons Public Information Office on 020 7219 4272 on the day before the hearing.
