Publication of Report The Rail Regulator's last consultations

At the beginning of June 2004 the Rail Regulator invited comments on proposals for new orders on Phase 1 of changes to the Network Code and for reform of the rail industry dispute resolution regime. The deadline for responses was 24 June and 25 June 2004, and the Regulator announced that "subject to the views received," he expected to make the changes at the end of June. The Regulator's functions are to be taken over by the Office of Rail Regulation on 5th July.

The Transport Committee's Thirteenth Report, of the 2003-04 Session, on these consultations will be published on Friday 2 July at 11.00 am as HC 805.

Copies of the Report will be available on that day in the Press Gallery from 11.00 am, and to other media from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon only from the Committee Office, 7 Millbank, London SW1P 3JA.
