PASC to quiz McFadden on public service reform

PASC - the Public Administration Select Committee - will be taking evidence on Thursday 10 May from Pat McFadden MP (Minister in the Cabinet Office) and Ian Watmore (Head of the Delivery Unit).

The Committee will question them for their inquiry into Public Services: Putting People First? This inquiry is covering a range of issues related to attempts by government to make public services more responsive to those that use them. The session may cover topics including the involvement of users in service delivery, consultation, complaint handling and minimum standards in public services.

The session will take place on Thursday 10 May at 10am in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House, Westminster.

The Committee was nominated on 13 July 2005. Its terms of reference are to examine the reports of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsmen, and to consider matters relating to the quality and standards of administration provided by Civil Service departments, and other matters relating to the Civil Service.
