The Committee on the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister: Housing, Planning, Local Government and the Regions will be hearing evidence for its inquiry into the Fire and Rescue Service   on the following date:

5.20 pm    Chief Fire Officers’ Association (CFOA)

Phil Toase - Vice President of CFOA and CFO West Yorkshire FRS

Steve McGuirk - Vice President Elect of CFOA and CFO Cheshire FRS

Olaf Baars - Deputy CFO Royal Berkshire FRS

A further evidence session will be held on 13 February details of which will be announced in due course.

The evidence session will take place in public, unless otherwise decided by the Committee, in a Committee Room at the House of Commons.  Those wishing to attend the meeting should check the venue by contacting the Committee Office Information Line on 020 7219 2033 on the day before the hearing.

 Submissions of written evidence received by the Committee by 16th January and accepted by the Committee as evidence relevant to its current inquiry have been published on the internet in two volumes. The evidence has been reported to the House and placed on the internet on the authority of the Committee.
