Radioactive Waste Management: a further update

The House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology launched an inquiry into radioactive waste management on 12 January 2010, which will be conducted by Sub-Committee I. The inquiry will focus on the role and performance of the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management, the body responsible for providing independent scrutiny and advice on the implementation of the Government's Managing Radioactive Waste Safely programme, and on whether Government is using its advice effectively.

Transcripts of oral evidence are produced after each meeting and then corrected, with revisions made by witnesses to correct errors or inaccuracies.
