Forthcoming Publication: Deaths in Custody: Further Developments

The Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) publishes its Seventh Report of Session 2006-07, Deaths in Custody: Further Developments, on Wednesday 7 March 2007 at 11.00am as House of Lords Paper HL 59, House of Commons Paper HC 364. This Report publishes a memorandum received from the Government in response to a request from the Committee for information updating it on recent developments.

The previously Committee reported on deaths in custody in its Third Report of Session 2004-05; the Government's two previous responses to this Report were published as the Eleventh Report of Session 2004-05, Government Response to the Third Report from the Committee: Deaths in Custody, HL Paper 69/HC 416, and the Second Report of Session 2005-06, Deaths in Custody: Further Government Response to the Third Report from the Committee, Session 2004-05, HL Paper 60/HC 651.
