The purpose of the evidence session is to examine the outcomes of the G8 Summit. The session will cover the following issues:

• Resources for meeting the Millennium Development Goals: Debt relief and aid

• Trade justice: A sustainable route out of poverty

• Conflict, governance and politics

• Keeping promises? Monitoring and accountability
