Rt Hon Keith Vaz, Chairman of the Committee, said:

"We will be taking evidence from those who help the victims of trafficking€”those sold into prostitution, trafficked children, abused domestic workers, those denied a proper wage or housed in terrible conditions in the agricultural sector.

"Last week we heard that 400 children in our care went missing in 2007. This is a crisis situation. We must consider what can be done to tackle this."
