Session 2002-03, dated 15 October 2003


The Committee will take oral evidence from Mr David Hatch, Chairman of the Parole Board for England and Wales, on Tuesday 28 October at 9.45 am. Mr Hatch will be accompanied by Christine Glenn, Chief Executive of the Parole Board.  This will be a single evidence session and is not part of a longer inquiry. It is expected that the Committee will cover a range of current issues relating to the work of the Parole Board.

This session will take place in either the Palace of Westminster or Portcullis House committee rooms.  This session will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. In advance of these meetings the Committee is seeking short written submissions from interested parties, highlighting issues which should be raised at this meeting. Such evidence should not exceed 1,000 words and should be submitted no later than Tuesday 21 October.
