Evidence Session & Invitation to Submit Written Evidence


The Foreign Affairs Committee has decided to hold the following evidence session in advance of its forthcoming visit to Iran:

The Committee plans to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran on 8-14 March 2003.

The Committee would greatly welcome written memoranda from interested parties on Iran.

Memoranda should cover recent developments in Iran, Iran's relations with Britain and the European Union, its regional role, security policies, and role in the 'war against terrorism'.   Those wishing to submit Memoranda should send them to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below. If possible, please supply an electronic version in MS Word or Rich Text format, either by email to or on a disk. If submitted by email or email attachment, a letter should also be sent validating the email with a clear indication of the originator's name and address. Memoranda should reach the Clerk by 4th February if possible, and in any case by 28 February.
