Reducing Carbon Emissions from Transport

Reducing Carbon Emissions from Transport will be published as the Committee's Ninth Report of Session 2005-06, HC 981, at 00.01 on Monday 7 August 2006.

Copies of the Report will be posted to all those who gave written or oral evidence to the Committee's inquiry on Monday 7 August. If you require an embargoed electronic PDF (from 00.01 on Sunday 6 August) or an embargoed hard copy (which you should receive on Monday 7 August), please email the committee by 5pm on Thursday 27 July).

Organisations and representatives of the media wishing to receive an embargoed electronic pdf copy of the Report on Sunday 6 August at 00.01am should email the Committee staff on eacom@parliament.uk by 5pm on Thursday 27 July (and, if you miss this deadline, email KibbyL@parliament.uk). Those wishing to receive non-embargoed copies of the Report should email KibbyL@parliament.uk for an electronic copy on Monday 7 August 2006 at 00.01. Hard copies will be available for collection from the Reception at 7 Millbank from 10.30am on Monday 7 August.

All those requiring the Volume 2 - evidence - should advise us when they make their request. For environmental reasons we print fewer copies of this volume.

The Environmental Audit Committee

Under the terms of the Standing Order No. 152A the Environmental Audit Committee is to consider to what extent the policies and programmes of government departments and non-departmental public bodies contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development: to audit their performance against such targets as may be set for them by her Majesty's Ministers; and to report thereon to the House. The Committee was set up on 13 July 2005.
