The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has agreed a report about gangmasters.

The Report will be published on Thursday 18 September 2003. A press conference will be held at 11.00 am that day in the Boothroyd Room, Portcullis House, Westminster.

It will be possible to televise the press conference. Those wishing to do so should notify the Committee's staff (on 020 7219 3262) in advance.

A press notice will be issued at the same time as the Report is published.


Advanced copies of the Report will be available to members of the media from 11.00 am on Wednesday 17 September 2003. These copies will be embargoed until 12.01 am on Thursday 18 September. The Report will be available in the following ways:

€Members of the media can collect them from the Press Gallery, House of Commons.

€They will be sent by post to all witnesses (including those who submitted written evidence), or, if preferred, they can be collected either by witnesses or by their representatives between 11.00 am and 12.00 noon on Wednesday, from Westminster House, 7 Millbank, London.

€The Report will also be available from the usual outlets, including the Stationery Office bookshops (reference: Fourteenth Report of the Committee, Session 2002-03, HC 691).

€The Report will be posted on the internet at approximately 3.30 pm on 18 September, and will be accessible via the Committee's homepage.
