The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has agreed a Report on  The Animal Welfare Bill

The Report will be published on  Wednesday 14 December at 11.00 am.


•Members of the media can collect copies of the report from the Press Gallery, House of Commons.

•They will be sent by post to all witnesses (including those who submitted written evidence), or, if preferred, they may be collected either by witnesses or by their representatives between 11.00 am and 11.30 am on Wednesday 14 December, from Westminster House, 7 Millbank, London.

•On Wednesday 14 December the Report will also be available from the usual outlets, including the Parliamentary Bookshop and  Stationery Office outlets (reference: Third Report of the Committee, Session 2005-06, HC 683).

•The Report will be posted on the internet on Wednesday 14 December and will be accessible via the Committee's homepage.

The Committee has reported to the House memoranda received from Defra updating the Committee on three previous inquiries (The future for UK fishing, Progress on the use of Pesticides: The Voluntary  Initiative, and Climate Change: looking forward). These have been placed on the Committee's website.


The Committee will publish the oral evidence session , with written memoranda, taken   in the Avian Influenza inquiry on Wednesday 14 December at 00.01.
