Oral evidence session: BBC Annual Report for 2006-07

The Committee will hold an oral evidence session at the House of Commons in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House on Tuesday 3 July at 11.00am.

The witnesses will be as follows:

Sir Michael Lyons, Chairman, BBC Trust

Mark Thompson, Director-General, BBC

Zarin Patel, Group Finance Director, BBC

The purpose of the session is to scrutinise the BBC’s performance including, among other matters:

• governance arrangements and accountability;

• value for money and efficiency; and

• the BBC’s objectives and strategy.
