Community Cohesion and Migration

Parliamentary Committee visit to Barking and Dagenham

A cross-party parliamentary committee of MPs will be visiting Barking and Dagenham on Tuesday 1 April to look at the effects of inward migration on the local area and community cohesion.

During the visit the Communities and Local Government Select Committee will meet people from minority ethnic and migrant communities, local residents and council representatives.

The visit is part of an inquiry launched by the Committee in December into Community Cohesion and Migration (see press notice for further details).
