Energy prices: Committee to hear from Ofgem and the Government

The Business and Enterprise Committee today announces two evidence sessions to follow-up on its Report, Energy prices, fuel poverty and Ofgem (HC 293), published in July this year. Issues the Committee will explore include:

€ The outlook for energy prices over the winter;
€ Findings from Ofgem's energy supply probe;
€ The Government's £1 billion fuel poverty package; and
€ Developments in the wholesale gas and electricity markets.
