Four ad hoc select committees recommended by the Lords Liaison Committee

The House of Lords Liaison Committee has today published its second report of the 2017–19 session, in which it recommends to the House four proposals for new ad hoc committees in 2018–19. The report will now go to the floor of the House for approval.

Proposals recommended to the House

The Committee recommends the following proposals to the House for appointment in 2018–19:

  • Bribery Act 2010 (post-legislative scrutiny)
  • Intergenerational Fairness and Provision
  • Regenerating Seaside Towns and Communities
  • The Rural Economy

It is expected that the report will be debated in the House before the Easter recess.
