Information Committee - role

Welcome to the Information Committee's website.

On 5 December 2007, the House agreed revised terms of reference for the Committee.

They are now:

"To consider information and communications services, including the Library and Parliamentary Archives, within the strategic framework and financial limits approved by the House Committee".

The Committee considers current levels of services and makes recommendations for change. The Committee has thirteen members and meets approximately six times a year. It meets in private to discuss issues with senior officials responsible for information services.
