The European Union Committee has published its thirteenth report on Brexit-related international agreements.
This report considers one international agreement which has been reported for information:
- Trade Agreement between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, of the one part, and the Republic of Colombia, the Republic of Ecuador and the Republic of Peru, of the other part
The agreement is a continuity agreement which seek to replicate existing agreements the UK is currently party to through its membership of the EU. The agreement introduces an extended cumulation of origin allowing both parties to recognise materials from the EU as originating in the UK or a signatory Andean country in exports to one another.
