Tuesday 23 October in Committee Room 2, Palace of Westminster
At 1.00pm

  • Rt Hon Claire Perry MP, Minister of State for Energy and Clean Growth

Areas of discussion

The European Commission has published a series of notices that set out the consequences of the UK leaving the EU on a variety of different sectors, detailing the policy and legal implications of Brexit that those working in that sector will need to take account of. The UK Government has also begun publishing guidance on what businesses and individuals will need to do in a 'no deal' scenario.

Members will question the Minister on the detail of the notices that relate to energy and climate change, to better understand the potential impact of 'no deal' and the extent to which the Government is prepared for that eventuality.
