Mumsnet hosts online forum on children and the internet

27 October 2016

Mumsnet is hosting an online forum for parents to share their views on children and the internet, a selection of which is to be shared with the Communications Committee and feed into its current inquiry on the same subject.

Background

The Communications Committee is investigating the impact of the internet on children’s wellbeing, and in particular how children's use of the internet is governed, examining the respective roles that parents, schools, media companies and regulators should all play. The Committee has taken evidence from experts in child safety, law enforcement, legal affairs and psychology, and from a number of child protection charities.

Deadline for submitting views to Mumsnet

The deadline is Monday 7 November. Mumsnet reserve the right to publish views at their own discretion.
