Human Rights implications of EU (Withdrawal) Bill: Report

26 January 2018

The Joint Committee on Human Rights publish report on implications of EU (Withdrawal) Bill on Human Rights.

Since it was reconstituted, the Joint Committee has pressed the Government for information on the human rights implications of the EU (Withdrawal) Bill.

A commentary on the Government's right by right analysis of the Charter of Fundamental Rights has been produced for the Committee, which demonstrates the complexity of the human rights landscape after exit from the EU.

The Committee is publishing it as an appendix to a report, as it believes it will assist further debates on the Bill, which will receive its second reading in the House of Lords on 30 and 31 January.
