Work and Pensions Committee
In the last Parliament, the Committee conducted a major inquiry into the collapse of high street chain BHS, and the fate of its 20,000 member pension scheme, leading to a series of recommendations on changes to corporate governance and the regulation of pension schemes.
You can find all the details of those inquiries on this page, along with all the Committee's current, on-going work on individual pension schemes. It is intended that this work will inform the upcoming Government White Paper on defined benefit pensions.
