David Isaac questioned on work of Equality and Human Rights Commission

The Women and Equalities Committee questions the Equality and Human Rights Commission to consider its impact 10 years since it was formed.

Purpose of the session

MPs are likely to ask questions on various aspects of the Commission's work, including its duties and powers, strategic role, performance, staffing and expenditure.

Earlier this month, its Chair, David Isaac, called for the Commission to be given more powers to enforce equality legislation.

The Government's recent Race Disparity Audit could also be covered.
