The Welsh Affairs Committee holds an evidence session with the Secretary of State and Ministers on the work of the Wales Office.
The wide-ranging session will examine issues in current inquiries and work completed by the Committee earlier in the year. This may include questions about infrastructure investment in Wales, following the decisions not to proceed with the Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon and rail electrification between Cardiff and Swansea.
Brexit issues will also feature in the session and the Committee is likely to seek an update on progress in talks and the Secretary of State’s role in representing in Welsh interests. This may include factors such as support for the agricultural sector, impact of future trade relationships and the future of dedicated regional funding.
