Secretary of State questioned on implications of Brexit

The Welsh Affairs Committee hear from Secretary of State for Wales, Rt Hon Alun Cairns MP and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Guto Bebb MP for its inquiry on the responsibilities of the Secretary of State for Wales.

Purpose of the session

This wide-ranging session will touch on a number of issues facing Wales, and examine how they will be affected by the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the EU. This includes the representation of Wales during Brexit negotiations.

The Committee will also question the Secretary of State on the ongoing fiscal framework meetings and the Wales Bill’s passing through Parliament.
