MPs question heads of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs

The Treasury Committee will take further evidence on the administration and effectiveness of HMRC on Wednesday 31 October 2012


  • Lin Homer, Chief Executive and Permanent Secretary;
  • Ruth Owen, Director General, Personal Tax; and
  • Jim Harra, Director General, Business Tax, HM Revenue &Customs.


The Sub-Committee has previously reported, and received a Government Response to the Committee's report, on this subject last year. The hearing scheduled for 31 October, and including the one held last week on 24 October, are intended to follow up on the Committee's recommendations to HMRC
