Strategic thinking in Government

Report published on 24 April 2012
Government response published on 11 September 2012.

In 2010, PASC undertook an inquiry into the way that the Government develops strategy at the highest level. PASC published its Report "Who does UK National Strategy?" on 12 October 2010, and a Further Report on 28 January 2011. Find further information on that enquiry.

The Committee promised to continue to scrutinise the development of strategy-making in Whitehall; and undertook a further inquiry on "Strategic thinking in Government" in 2011-12.
