Future of Irish land border examined with academics and policy experts

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee resumes its land border inquiry. The Committee hears from academics and policy experts on the merits of published position papers by the UK government and EU Commission.

Purpose of the session

The session looks at how land border questions are being addressed in the sequencing of negotiations. In particular, to what extent land border issues can be resolved without reference to future customs arrangements between the UK and the EU?
