Prime Minister to make first appearance before Liaison Committee

Prime Minister Boris Johnson will make his first appearance in front of the Liaison Committee on Wednesday 11th September, 3.30pm to 5pm.

Committee Chair Sarah Wollaston wrote to Mr Johnson last month (PDF PDF 83 KB) to ask him to attend as soon as possible after the summer recess if he became Prime Minister. In his reply (PDF PDF 73 KB), Mr Johnson said “Parliamentary accountability is extremely important”.

Further details on participating members and likely topics for discussion will be announced at a later date.
