At the end of sitting weeks the Justice Committee publishes a brief summary of its activities in the form of a weekly update.
We met in private on Wednesday this week.
We discussed our forward programme and the work we had coming up in the next few weeks.
We also agreed to publish written evidence we had received relating to our work on Transforming Rehabilitation and the small claims limit for personal injury.
The Committee also agreed to publish supplementary estimates memoranda for the Crown Prosecution Service, HM Procurator General and Treasury Solicitors, the Ministry of Justice, Judicial Pension Scheme and the Serious Fraud Office.
We also agreed a Report on the Draft Sentencing Council guideline on terrorism offences. We intend to publish this on our website on Tuesday 27 February.
The Committee agreed to announce a new inquiry into the Disclosure of evidence in criminal cases. The Committee welcomes written evidence on this inquiry, the deadline for submission is Wednesday 21 March. Further information is available on the inquiry page on our website.
