This week

We met in private on Tuesday this week to discuss the Committee’s future work and to agree to publish correspondence received over recess. This was a longer than usual private meeting, and we did not meet in public.

Earlier this week we announced that our first public meeting since the summer recess will take place on Tuesday next week when we will take evidence as part of our inquiry, Prison Population 2022: planning for the future.

We will next be meeting in public on Tuesday 11 September at 10am in Room 8 Palace of Westminster.
