Infrastructure and Development Third Evidence Session

This is the third evidence session for the Infrastructure and Development inquiry.

The first panel will explore how to build engineering capacity in developing countries with Dr Claire Curtis-Thomas, an engineer and ex-Member of Parliament who has co-founded a charity working in Sierra Leone.

The second panel will address the issue of transport infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on roads. Robert Petts is an expert on rural access, specifically the building and maintenance of rural road infrastructure. David Ward represents the Commission for Global Road Safety, which seeks to reverse global road traffic injury and fatality rates.
