20 June 2018

The Sub-Committee on ICAI takes evidence from the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI) and the National Security Secretariat on the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund.

Wednesday 20 June 2018, Committee Room 8, Palace of Westminster

At 9.50am

  • Willem van Eekelen, Team Leader, ICAI
  • Melinda Simmons, Director of Implementation for Cross-Government Funds, National Security Secretariat
  • Dr Christian Dennys, Acting Head of Joint Programme Hub, National Security Secretariat

Purpose of the Session

This is the Sub-Committee’s eighth evidence session of the current Parliament. It provides an opportunity for Members to examine ICAI’s recent review of aid spending by the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) – a review which is highly relevant to the Committee’s recent inquiry on ODA.

Members will question the Government on the review’s findings, whilst also questioning ICAI on their methodology and on the Government’s response.
