The International Development Committee announced an inquiry into DFID's Performance in 2008-09 and the 2009 White Paper on 17 July 2009.


The Committee published its final Report on 11 March 2010. See Chairman's Comments for further detail.

Terms of reference

The International Development Committee is to conduct an inquiry into the Department for International Development’s Annual Report and Resource Accounts 2008-09, Better Results for Poor People , which was published on 16 July 2009 (HC 867). This year’s inquiry will also examine the DFID White Paper Eliminating World Poverty: Building our Common Future which was published on 6 July 2009 (Cm 7656).
