BBC World Service Cuts

This session will focus on the effects of the changes announced by the World Service on 26 January, including the closure of 5 language services and the ending of radio transmissions in 7 languages, including Mandarin Chinese and Russian, and will take place on Wednesday 9 March 2011.

At approximately 4.15pm:

  • Mark Thompson, Director-General, BBC
