FCO response to the UK's vote to leave the EU examined

The Foreign Affairs Committee will hold its first session on the future of Britain's diplomatic relationship with Europe: follow up.

Purpose of the session

The Committee will explore how the FCO responded to the UK's vote to leave the EU, and its role in the early stages of the Brexit process.
This session is following up on the Committee’s earlier inquiry on the future of UK diplomacy in Europe.

Please note - immediately after this session Sir Ivan will  be giving evidence alongside other former senior diplomats as part of the Committee's inquiry on FCO secure communications and handling of classified information.
