Guy Verhofstadt questioned on European Parliament's priorities

The Exiting the European Union Committee continues its inquiry into the Brexit negotiations with a session featuring evidence from Guy Verhofstadt MEP, Brexit Coordinator and Chair of the European Parliament Brexit Steering Group.

In this session, the Committee investigates the European Parliament's role in the negotiations on the UK's withdrawal from the EU, negotiations on the future UK-EU relationship, and what the European Parliament's priorities are – particularly looking at the rights of EU citizens.
