Embedding sustainable development across Government - oral evidence session announced

The Environmental Audit Committee will take evidence from GLOBE UK, GLOBE International, New Economics Foundation, Exeter University, University of East Anglia, WWF-UK and Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development.


The session is open to the press and the public and will take place on Wednesday 17 November 2010, in the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House

The witnesses will be:

At 2.45 pm

  • Barry Gardiner MP, Vice Chair, GLOBE UK;
  • Dr Samuel Fankhauser, Chief Economist, GLOBE International; and
  • Charles Seaford, Head of the Centre for Well-being, New Economics Foundation

Followed by, at approximately 3.30 pm

  • Dr John Turnpenny, University of East Anglia;
  • Carol Day, Solicitor, WWF-UK; and
  • Halina Ward, Director, Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development
