Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s questioned on Farmgate prices

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee takes evidence from supermarket top executives as part of its inquiry into farmgate prices.

Purpose of the session

For many farmers, falling prices paid for their products, are leading to an uncertain future. The Committee hears from representatives from the retail industry. The Committee investigates the price that retailers pay for dairy and red meat, and the role that retailers have in promoting British goods to consumers.
