The UK oil and gas sector is threatened by sustained low oil prices and the maturity of the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS). The Energy and Climate Change Select Committee is taking evidence—from the upstream and downstream industries, unions, and the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA)—on these challenges and the effectiveness of Government policy to address them.
