The economics of climate change

The Energy and Climate Change Committee took evidence on The economics of climate change at 9.30 am on Tuesday 5 November 2013, in the Grimond room, Portcullis House.

The Committee heard from:

Professor Lord Stern, President of the British Academy and former Chief Economist at the World Bank, as well as IG Patel Professor of Economics & Government at the London School of Economics.

The session explored a range of issues, including:
• The economics of climate change
• The current government approach to addressing climate change
• International climate change action
