Witnesses

Tuesday 30 October in Committee Room 16, Palace of Westminster

At 10am

  • Paula Sussex, Chief Executive, Student Loans Company

Purpose of the session

The Education Committee questions the Chief Executive and Chair of the Student Loans Company. The session with Paula Sussex and Christian Brodie will focus on changes made to the organisation, which provides loans and grants to students at universities and colleges in the UK, since the dismissal of previous chief executive Steve Lamey last year.

Members may also ask about the impact of the sale of the student loan book and the company's approach to loans for estranged students. The meeting is the latest in a series of accountability hearings held with figures and organisations accountable to Parliament.
