Apprenticeships and Skills Minister questioned in accountability hearing

The Education Committee holds accountability session with Anne Milton MP, Apprenticeships and Skills Minister, before questioning Chair of the post-18 review of education and funding, Philip Augar.

Purpose of the session

The first part of the session will focus on the Department for Education's apprenticeships and skills policy. The hearing is a chance for Members to ask the Minister about further education funding, following the publication of the Committee's report on Friday.

The Committee will then have the chance to ask Dr Augar about his review of post-18 education and funding, with a likely focus on the recommendations on further education and degree apprenticeships. Nottingham Trent University Vice Chancellor Edward Peck will also be on the panel.
