DCMS Minister Margot James MP and CEO of Arts Council to be questioned on support for live music

Should pop music get as much Arts Council funding as opera? How will Brexit affect musicians and their ability to tour? What more can the Government be doing to support grassroots music venues and music education?

These topics, and how they might be considered as the Arts Council consults on its next 10-year strategy, will be discussed with DCMS Minister Margot James MP and Arts Council England CEO Darren Henley OBE for the Committee’s last session as part of its inquiry into live music.
