BBC bosses to face questions on pay from DCMS Committee

The Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee will be holding its session on BBC pay on Wednesday 31 January 2018 from 2.00pm.

The Director-General of the BBC Lord Hall will appear alongside other senior BBC figures Sir David Clementi, Anne Bulford and Fran Unsworth before MPs in a public session on Wednesday to explore alleged pay discrimination at the corporation, prompted by the resignation of Carrie Gracie as China Editor earlier this month.
 
Carrie Gracie and Michelle Stanistreet, the General Secretary of the NUJ, are also due to give evidence to the Committee and will appear first, followed by Lord Hall and colleagues.
